I just scored myself a sony memory stick PRO Duo 1gb card for my s700i and its not working  i have tried formating it on my memory card reader on my computer but yet when i try and take a photo on my phone and save it to the memory card it comes up with Memory Stick error . was wanting to fill it up with mp3's

The s700i is not compatible with any Pro Duo memory cards. You can only use a MEmory Stick Duo card in your Sony ericsson s700i, and these only go to 128MB in max capacity.

They are also harder to get hold of these days, as the newer Sony Ericsson's are Memory Stick Pro Duo devices, like the K750i, W800i, W810i, P910i, and P990i.
