hello i am having tha same problen with my samsung d900 there are no solutions so far and i have read up on the inet that samsung d900 do not allow memory card that are 2gb and over so dont no if that is true?

There are certainly MotoRAZR v3x owners using 2GB microSD. However, the official line from Motorola is that they are not fully compatible so we are not encouraging owners to go above 1GB capacity right now.

this may change in the future with firmware fixes, but no word yet. The safe bet is to stay away for now, and stick to a max 1GB on all Motorola apart from the new MOTOKRZR K1 which is officially 2GB compatible. As it happens.

2 x 1GB microSD is cheaper due to excellent 1GB price, and combined with our USB2 microSD Reader bundle, this is worth considering so you carry 1 card in the phone, and 1 in your USB stick on a keyring.. which means a quick switch is possible, and you have a portable/expandable USB flash stick too... worth considering may be

Yes, right now 1GB microSD is the max capacity that is compatible with the Samsung D900, and Samsung D600 and Samsung E900 for that matter.

Please specify your preference for partial - refund in your email for the returns.

Thanks for letting me know. Does a 1GB card work with the D900? If so, can i have an exchange and partial refund, if not i will simply return the 2GB card for a full refund..

The Samsung D900 cannot handle a 2GB microSD card im afraid with current firmwares.

we are trying to catch all orders from SamSung D900, E900 and D600 owners for the 2gb micro-SD before they go out, but yours may have been missed by our packing team..

Hi,

I just bought a 2GB MicroSD card for my Samsung D900 and once i inserted it, the phone kind of recognises it but when i try to access it, at first it asked to format it and when i clicked yes, it came up with 'error'. but now all it says is 'initialising' but won't access the card. in the memory status, it says 0kb available and i can't see the card in the samsung pc studio..

any ideas what i need to do or am missing?
