Below is the step by step tutorial about how to transfer DVD movies and TV shows, videos, YouTube and Google videos, iTunes DRM protected music to Microsoft Zune.

Before getting started, let's take a look at the audio and video formats Microsoft Zune recognizes:

Audio Support
Windows Media Audio Standard (WMA) (.wma); WMA Lossless; Advanced Audio Coding (AAC) (.mp4, .m4a, .m4b, .mov); MP3 (.mp3).

Video Support
Windows Media Video (WMV) (.wmv); MPEG-4 (MP4/M4V) (.mp4) Part 2 video; H.264 video; DVR-MS.

So, you see, in order to put DVD movies and TV shows, video files and YouTube and Google video onto Zune, you will need a converter that will go from DVD and video to Zune WMV or MP4 (Video) or Zune WMA or MP3 (Audio). This kind of program can only rip the DVD's or convert the video files to your PC, however, Microsoft offers Zune users the free program called "Zune Software" to sync the media from PC to Zune. In this tutorial, I'd like to demonstrate how to rip DVD's and convert videos to Zune using Clone2Go DVD to Zune Converter. 1. Add DVD movies or TV shows

Insert the DVD disc into the disc drive, click the Open DVD button to import it if you are going to enjoy the DVD movie on your Zune. Or if the DVD movie is saved as a folder on your computer, you need to click the Add Video button to locate that folder, which is composed of two separate folders: VIDEO_TS and AUIDO_TS. From the VIDEO_TS folder, select the .vob file to import and then click OK.

If you want to enjoy online YouTube or Google videos on your Zune, click the YouTube button on the main interface. In the pop-up window, copy and paste the URLs of the YouTube videos one by one.

There will be a list of the added YouTube videos, which will be downloaded automatically one by one. And the downloading status is clearly shown on the list. After the status of all of them indicates Completed, you can tick whichever videos you want to watch on your Zune.

After the DVD's, videos or YouTube/Google videos are imported, you can preview it on the main interface. If you only want a clip of the DVD/video, you can drag the Start to trim and Stop to trim button to get the certain segment.

After making sure you have chosen the right profile from the Profile drop-down list, now you can click the Start Encode button to starting ripping DVD movies or TV shows, converting videos or downloading and converting online YouTube/Google videos for your Zune.

4. Convert iTunes M4P music to Zune

The music downloaded from iTunes Store is under DRM protection. In order to play it on your Zune, you need to strip the DRM off and have the iTunes protected AAC (M4P) music converted to Zune WMA or MP3 format. The easiest way is to burn the iTunes M4P playlist to CD-R or CD-RW disc to make an audio CD and then use some CD ripper software to convert the audio CD track back to MP3. And iTunes allows you to burn the protected music files to CD-R or CD-RW disc to make a standard audio CD:

A. Insert a CD-R or CD-RW disc into your CD-ROM drive. You'd better use CD-RW disc as it can be used for more than once.
B. Create a new playlist in iTunes. Add the protected songs to your playlist until you have 72 minutes of music. Click the Burn Disc button, in the pop-up window of Burn Settings, tick Audio CD from the Disc Format checkboxes. Note: You cannot select the MP3 CD option since it requires the protected music files be converted to unprotected MP3 or WMA files.
C. After the audio CD is successfully burned, insert the disc into your CD-ROM drive again. Then you can use iTunes or Windows Media Player to import the music tracks on the burned disc to MP3 or WMA files.

First off let me say this is not a complaint. I think your service and products are excellent and the cheapest ive found.

However I would like to recommend adding Sat Nav devices to your compatablity list. Stupidity got the better of me and I needed a new SD Card for a TOM TOM XL and I didnt check on their site before ordering so I thought I would get a new 47gb SDHC card from yourselves. (Biggest is always best!).

Unfortunately the nasty TOM TOM people do not think biggest is best and the unit I have will not accept SDHC cards only SD.

I would just like to warn other lazy people like me to check their Sat Nav manufacturers website first before ordering or maybe Moby can add it to their list before you order a reminder for Sat Nav users??

Ok, here's the deal, I have an mp3/mp4 player (chinese/taiwan brand) that I bought locally here in my country. It had a MiniSD slot and I had wanted to expand the player's memory, so I bought a MicroSD card. Why MicroSD? because at that time MiniSD cards were unavailable, and I can buy a MiniSD adapter so it can fit into my player.

All was fine when I bought the card last July. It was showing full capacity of 1.90+ gb and it was working fine...

Flash forward to this week(wednesday I think), I tried to access the card using my mp4 player, but when I play files on it, it stops working, damn.

So I moved the files out of the card, formatted it, and when I tried to return the mp3s, videos, and other files back to the card, it stops halfway and announces that 'the disk is full, please insert another disk to continue'.

So I moved the files back out of the card and did a format again. And the 'disk is full' error happened again

Moving back the files out of the card for the third time, I suspected something was wrong, so I clicked on the card and checked out the properties

It turned out that half of my available space was being taken up by 'nothing', there was literally no files on the card, but something was occupying the memory...

And so I reformatted the card using a utility called SDformatter, but then it reduced the card size to 974mb(1gb)

So, now I'm stuck with a memory card that's only at half capacity.

So, I've been searching the net for memory card utilities, and all I've been seeing are recovery utilities for FILES, photos, videos, mp3s, the works.

However, there is no memory card utility that restores lost capacity.

If someone can point me in the right direction to a software utility that can restore a memory card to full capacity, It'll be appreciated.

Problem with Samsung SGH-Z560 + 2GB microSD Ultra II

I have recently bought a 2GB microSD Ultra II (Transflash) Sandisk Memory Card (with SD Adapter) from Moby to use with my Samsung SGH-Z560. When I plug the card in, the phone reboots and continues to reboot until the card is removed. The card appears to be ok – it works fine via the adapter in a digital camera. Also, curiously, the phone itself flashes up an animated SD card graphic on the front LCD display – presumably indicating a card problem. There is no mention of this in the phone user manual. Bizarrely there is also no mention of the maximum size of card supported either.

How did Moby Memory decide which SD cards to list in the Z560 section of your website?

I took the phone into a T-Mobile shop this weekend and they confirmed that it will work with a 1GB (non Ultra II) Sandisk card.

Anyone else had this problem?

Moby MMC 256 MB Works on Sony ericisson K500i

I have just got to thank Moby memory and their support staff, regarding the purchase of MMC 256Mb for my sony ericisson k500i which works with my HPM-10 MP3 player.

I had tried numerous MMC cards ,and these suppliers could not verify if this is supported, or if it would even work.

I have also tried this on a K700i and this works as well.

Stop messing about with other retailers, you may safe a few pounds here and there, but then your stuck with something that doesn't work.
Moby memory offers a full refund including postage if this does not work, plus they actually listen and want to help, not just selling you the product.

I only saved a few pounds buying these mmc cards else where, and had wished I gone straight to Moby memory. In all honesty thay are really not any more expensive than other resellers.
So to all the Sony Ericisson phone users , this is the place to come.

Hi All. I bought this 1GB Hi-Speed 80X SD MobyMemory card to work with HP Ipaq HW6515 but it does not work even though it says it is compatible in the list next to the card.

When inserted into the PDA, I am asked to format the card.

Which in turn I answer "Yes". The Ipaq comes back saying it is formatted successfully.

But when I try to access the card it cannot be found.

Please help me or I am going to have to return the card to MobyMemory

problem with Siemens SL45

I have just purchesed a 128mb card from your site, but when I try to format the card in my siemens sl45 phone it says "multimedia card format error" and will not access it.

I have had the same problem with other cards in the past, the only one that seems to work is the siemens card that came with the phone.

any suggestions appreciated.
