It sounds like you need to reformat from your PC.

Cheers

RE: formating?

i tried formatig mmc throu sx1 and siemens Data suite (usb cable - in windows) - no result - "unknown error"! From memory, i know it used to take a long time formatting in the SX1, completing a sector by sector format of the card.

I suggest formatting your card to FAT16 via a card reader with your PC (as described at the end of the article above), and then re-try in your SX1. Hopefully that should sort you out.

Cheers

formating?

i bought 512mb mmc 06.2004 and from few days i'cant format the mmc (because phone starts to have mistakes and rebooting all the time - i formated and upgraded the phone - no result - still the same... finally i tried formating the mmc and it took about 3sek (not 1 hour!) and i had massage that formating is done - but it was still full!!!!!(i tried 5 times - even after restart!)

i even tried to format throu the windows but there was error!

mmc already corrupted??
