Hello

I have just bought a scandisk 1gb memory stick pro duo. It works fine on my PC when read through a card reader. However when I put this into the memory card slot of the p910i it does not recognise it, i.e. I cant format it. I have been told by Sony Ericsson that the p910i should be able to read the 1gb memory stick pro duo from scandisk, (the packaging of the memory stick also has a p910 on the cover).

Any advise on how I can get the phone to recognise it, does it need a special driver to be installed, if so how can I get this?

i have been told but carphonewerhouses that it could be corrupt... i have followed the instruction on how to re format it and i only get as far as to opening 'my computer' i insert the stick and the my computer box only freeze's and as soon as i remove the card it is fine again. so how do i re format it? or is ther somthing else wrong with it? please help some one or has any one else experienced this?????????????????

problem with sony memory stick pro duo 512mb

hi
i have just bought a new pro duo 512mb for my p910i,
after formating it on the Phone and then placed it in my card reader (connected to my windows XP) so i could transfer some files to my phone etc.

Problem is, the PC does not allow me to open my 512mb memory stick, when I click on the memory stick in file manager the computer 'locks up'

The PC had no problem reading the content of my original 32mb memory stick, (that came with the phone)
i tryed reformating the 512mb on the phone again. NO difference.

The phone sees the 467mb free space on the memory stick and works just fine but, when i place the stick in the reader and click on the memory stick in file manager the same thing happend again.

Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem??

This is for my sony ericsson p910i, i have transferred music from my pc, to the MS,and this plays one track at a time with flip open, can you tell me how i can transfer the music from file manager external other to the music player where i can manage the tracks better, i have scoured the manual, to no avail, and your help would be appreciated.
