Sendo X - MP3 Music playing mobile phone which takes biggest SD memory cards

The Sendo X is the symbian smartphone from that rarest of things, a UK mobile phone company.

It has a great desktop menu (with quick access to everything you need)..

It also has a great MP3 music player in it, stereo sound and heaphones, with integrated remote control.

And perhaps the nicest thing is its compatibility with both the biggest SD and MMC memory cards with a hot-swappable slot at the base of the phone..

You get 976MB of capacity in the 1GB Kingmax Platinum memory card.

The 2GB SD card fits in fine into the hot-swappable slot of the Sendo X:

The 2GB SanDisk SD card gives a lot of extra room to the Sendo X: about 1937MB in total..

The Sendo X music player accesses its music on the SD card dusplaying the folder names:

Here we get a nice glimpse of the Sendo X music player in action.. much nicer than the norm in other symbian mobiles. Also, check out the stereo headphones with remote control including volume slider:

We have seen the Sendo X available in various places at reduced prices now..(afterall, it is getting a little old now, and not as small as some of the newer smartphones.)

However, it has a great music player on board, is a full-blown smartphone (with symbian OS), and it can handle the biggest SD and MMC memory cards. The SD and MMC formats are still the cheapest (and largest capacity) memory card formats available for use in mobile phones.

ps. A USB2 card reader is essential for the biggest memory cards to bulk copy your music, and video files straight from your PC at the fastest transfer rates.

We are waiting on the newly announced Sendo X2 due out hopefully before the end of the summer. It will have even more music playing functionality.. and with any luck is a little slimmer too.

For those fortunate enough to own a Send X symbian mobile, you have the choice in terms of memory card that you wish to go for...

You can go for maximum speed with one of our SD hi-speed Platinum Kingmax memory cards

Or you can go for maxmum compatibility with one of our MobyMemory MMC Memory cards

The hi-speed SD cards from Kingmax will support a file transfer of up to 10mb per second (when connected via USB2 card reader to a PC).

On the other hand, our MobyMemory MMC cards will work with virtually all SD slot devices (including the Sendo X, and countless SD-slot cameras) as well as all MMC slot devices, like the Nokia and Siemens mobile phones and other MMC-only devices..
