Motorola SLVR and 2GB microSD memory

Motorola SLVR is not yet fully compatible with 2GB capacity microSD memory cards. May be a firmware fix can address the problem in the future, but for now, please make sure to only purchase microSD memory up to a max of 1GB capacity for your Motorola SLVR.

NB. A new version of the SLVR (L7e i think - due out soon) should be compatible to 2GB capacity.

According to the UK Motorola site the largest size trans flash memory supported is 512mb (Link below). Do we know whether the 1gb card from SanDisk SDSDQ-1024 (labelled as MicroSD, Link below) will operate in the phone?

problems with a 1gd micro sd card

Can anyone help. I have been using the memory card for the last week but I have now had a message saying message box full. Since this I can no longer access anything on the memory card. I have checked the memory status on the phone which states that the full 1gb is used. When I connect to a pc the card show as having nothing on the card. I have tried formatting the card in both the hanset on via the pc but both fail to format the drive. If any one can I would very much appreciate it.
