When I get a text msg the name does not display, it shows international number +4478 etc I have tried changing the number to +4478 and saving it to contacts but it doesn't work. I've tried dialing the number and then saving etc but still nothing.

Can anyone help me on this ? It would be much appreciated.

Thanks

RE: N73 MEMORY

I have now purchased a SanDisk 2gb card from elsewhere, inserted it and it worked with no problems at all. Apparently there are fakes about that do not work on all phones and Nokia are particularly temperamental. The part number on my new card that works is:SDSDM 2048, BE06229EN.

I also have a new problem with the N73. I have recently installed a game which was fine, it is installed and works but since then I have experienced the phone shutting down & rebooting when I try to answer calls. It dials out OK and all the features work it is purely only when answering incoming calls. The game is installed on the phone memory so I'm going to delete it and re-instal it on the new memory card to see if that helps. I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this with the N73??

RE: N73 MEMORY

i have formatted it on my computer and it has worked thanks

RE: N73 MEMORY

Try format outside the phone, or see if it works on another device.

RE: N73 MEMORY

i have a 1gb memory card for my nokia n73 and i try to get it 2 work so i try 2 format it and it says ... memory card corrupted . what do i do??

RE: N73 MEMORY

I have the same problem on N73 with the 2Gb Mobymemory miniSD card. I've put the card in my PC card reader and hey presto it is seen and files are showing on it. Is this a compatibilty issue as the card seems to be fine. The supplier has offered a kingston replacement but I'm worried that I can only use a 1 gb as staed in the manual, I can't see why though. Any help would be appreciated.

RE: N73 MEMORY

The 2GB miniSD will be fine, and we believe the 4GB mini-SD should be as well with the Nokia N73, although this has not been tested by ourselves yet on the N73, (it is performing well enough so far with Nokia 6280).

hope this helps.

N73 MEMORY

CAN I USE A 2 OR 4 GIG MINI SD IN MY N73, OR DO I HAVE TO STICK WITH 512MB OR 1GIG AS RECCOMMENDED BY ORANGE?
