Hi all

Sorry to resurrect this old topic, but I would like to add my experience.

Ive never used or listened to an Ipod but I have friends/family that swear by them.

However, I have a 6230 (so did my girlfriend until she upgraded) and have had it since 2004! My 6230 has a 1gb KingMax MMC and I use Sony MDR-EX71 headphones)

The only issues I have with it is :

1.      Nokia PC Suite is rubbish! As far as I’m aware, it’s the only app you can use to create playlists (and it is VERY slow via Bluetooth!)

2.      The middle button is hard to press (so I bought a 6230I keypad instead)

3.      No 2.5mm Stereo socket for better headphones included (A Nokia AD-15 converter is needed)

Saying that, it beats the 6230i (which is slower) and the N80.

Correct me if im wrong, but isnt Itunes the ONLY way to get media onto an Ipod? At least with the 6230 you have a choice: Bluetooth, IRDA, USB or card reader. Nokia PC Suite is only needed for playlist creation.

I am a long way from wanting an upgrade but am thinking of buying a 4gb card
