I have an O2 X4 phone and bough the moby memory 512mb mini sd and the mini sd usb reader. I have 126 songs converted using dbpoweramp at 128 constant bitrate. When I copy these over to the memory they show ok fine on the pc and I can play them on the pc through the reader.

When I put the memory the memeory back into the phone it will only show 70+ songs and I cannot access the others. The memeory storage shows I have alot more songs on the card.

I have tried adding the songs individually, etc. This is very frustrating. Any help please?

this sounds like an O2 X4 firmware issue. Have you checked for a reason why it doesnt show certain tracks...?

Is it all the ones after a certain number (after first 70)..?

Or is it all the tracks with a file name above certain length..?

Try and spot if there is a reason for why it might not be showing some of them..

We are not aware of an absolute track list number limitation in the X4, and we dont remember seeing that in our O2 X3.

Cheers

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I found out what it was. it was 1 or 2 files that the phone didn't like. it would recognise upto them and then ignore the rest although they were on the card. I have excluded this 2 songs and used 96 bitrate and currently have 147 mps on my card.

One thing I have noticed is that when the card is in the phone it really slows the welcome and goodbye screens and accessing the mp3 playeer. Without the card these are alot quicker. Any reasons why?
