Hi,

I have got a Moby Memory 2GB Mini SD for my 6280. It seems to work in the phone, the phone sees it and can write to it. If I connect to USB and select the Data Suite mode, I can write files to it. However in Data Storage Mode, the phone appears as a new drive, but when I try and open it, it tells me the disk is not formatted! If I use the 64mb card that is supplied with the phone, then it works fine.

I assume that as your website states that these cards are designed to work with the 6280, that this mode should work..

Thanks for your help.

Duncan

I just put the card in the phone, connected it to the computer, selected data storage mode on the mobile, opened explorer on the computer, selected drive G: and it came up with the error "drive not formatted". you cant access the drive at all.

If anyone has a solution, please post it!

I have tried every possible way to format it, although it came formatted and worked fine in the phone.

I formated it with the phone, but no luck. The format worked fine and the card worked in the phone, but not in data storage mode. If you try and format it with the PC when the drive appears, it fails to format.

Put the original 64mb card in the phone and it works in data storage mode.. plus you can re-format it from the pc.

The only solution I have found is to buy a USB converter thingy, and use that to transfer stuff to the card rather than use the phones usb cable. Not ideal but until anyone can offer an answer thats what i am gunna do.
