24 May: I ordered and just received the MobyMemory BT USB dongle/adapter:

http://www.mobymemory.com/proddetail.asp?prod=USB%5FBluetooth%5FClass1%5F001

Device is labelled MobyMemory (model LM505 MM)

This came with CD containing BlueSoleil software 2.1.3.0 Release 060429 (not IVT 1,6 Software as advertised on package) to

I followed instructions to install and run the software. It seems to work to start with. However, after a few minutes the BlueSoleil software gives a message that the software is a "pirate" copy (!) and will only run in demo mode (max 5Mb transfer).

Obviously, this means the BT dongle is not usable.

Help!

7 June: Would someone at MobyMemory care to comment. I have not received a reply to my email to Customer Services after two weeks. Will you send me compatible software, fix the software license issue or give a refund?

Guys,

i dont know why you didnt receive a response properly through the Customer Services team but we are aware of the issue with the BlueSoleil software licensing and
have been promised an updated download from the manufacturers very soon.

Please send an email through to bluesoleil @ mobymemory.com and you will be added to the list of people who will receive the download link in an email.

this matter has been addressed between the software developers, and the manuafactures of the bluetooth dongle and their UK distributors. We have been promised a solution within the next week.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime, especially to those without Windows XP (SP2) who may need the drivers to fully utilise the dongle.

Yours sincerely,
