Posted 8/20/2006 8:56 PM | | | Hello guys, I just got nokia 6280.. and now i need extra memory. I'm looking for 2GB or minimum of 1GB memory card. Wanna ask two questions 1. Which memory card should/can be used in nokia 6280: MMC or MiniSD or both (then which one is preferred one)? 2. Which company's memory card is better? Thanks for your time. |
| Posted 8/21/2006 12:04 AM | | | 1. ONLY miniSD - MMC is not for 6280. 2. Sandisk have always good references. But I always buy Mobymemory brand, because they are cheaper and sometimes of bigger capacity than others (I´m a buyer, and don´t have any personal interest on Mobymemory), and never had have problems. Only rule, is buy the bigger and faster card You can. |

I think MobyMemory doesn't give away any warranty on its items, otherwise mymemory gives 5 year warranty. What do you say about the speed of the memory card. MobyMemory gives 80x speed (if I'm not wrong), do we have better speed memory or is it a standard one??? |
| Posted 8/21/2006 11:07 AM | | | Read the terms of MM sells. They have a cash back garantee for the first month, if I remenber well, then the cards have 2 or 3 years of garantee. In this forum is possible to find not so happy clients with the refund process. I don´t have personnal experience, because I never need... So, read the selling terms! The speed more important, are the write speed. The MM miniSD cards, hold 5mb/sec - 33X. The faster ones, are the Sandisk Ultra II Cards, with 9Mb/s - 60x. How much faster is a card, how much faster the global phone (with need of card) works fast. The speed never is a standard, change a lot from brand to brand. |
