Posted 11/28/2006 9:00 PM | | | I for one can't wait for the arrival of the Nokia N95.. It will be a nice excuse for some very extensive testing with our microSD cards and accessories...
May have to pull rank on this one and volunteer myself for the tests
How about a city visit to europe to try out the built in GPS.. Nokia are going to be releasing city maps for most of the big cities round the world. When the GPS hardware is "in the box" and the software too, it looks like the days of 3rd party software solutions for GPS on the Nokia symbian platforms may be limited in the future.
How about taking a few shots while you are away: 5 megapixel photos should be sufficient for all but the keenest photographers i would guess.
How about some homemade movies: VGA Video (MP4) recorded at 30 fps (frames per second) will just have to do..
If Nokia pull this off and deliver on the spec with all the usual Nokia features you take for granted (like battery, signal strength, call quality etc).. then this very hard to beat on smartphones stakes for 1st half of 2007.
Anyone seen one in action yet at the trade shows or in beta release..? Please let us know what you thought first hand.
Cheers
