Wak,

Nokia like to do their own firmware upgrades via their network of Nokia Service Centres. If you find the nearest to you, ask them if there is one available for the Nokia 6230 yet. Certainly for their other smartphones, they have been providing firmware upgrades although they like a reason before prescribing one (if it ain't broke don't fix it..)..

Siemens has a more DIY attitude to firmware upgrades, and posts them onto its website on a regular basis with the necessary firmware flashing software (for SX1 and others).

Thanks for the tip on blank label to help with NAM recognizing the MMC. Will post that up in separate article to help other 6230 owners if OK by you Wak.?

I just got a new 512mb MMC card for my nokia 6230 only my phone won't recognise it at all. I've tried reformatting it on my pc via my card reader but no matter what I do to it, it just won't work. Can anyone out there please tell me how to get this thing working as I desperately want it to be working by monday!!!!

what make is your MMC? Not all the brands work with the 6230.....

I am trying to install more games in memory card of my Nokia 6230 but fail. Any other ways I can do that or is it restricted to the shared memory only. Its very very frustrating as don't really use my memory card much. Any advice.
